Are you ready for the UEFA Champions League cup final? Arsenal meets Barcelona on 17 May 2006 at 20:45 Central European Time (14:45 Eastern) at the Stade de France in Paris. This is a great event for English soccer. ===PAUSE FOR REALITY CHECK=== The Arsenal home stadium is in England (at least for now, but it is being sold off by auction at the end of this season). On the other hand, if we line up the Arsenal squad for an identity parade we might find a distinct lack of English players. Holy Highbury! – even the manager, Arsene Wenger ("Arsenal Winger") is a Frenchman! Did all the English players leave England, or can't England's youth produce good footballers these days?
