International DVD Players Are Back

Well almost. Blighty's is expecting a big shipment of International DVD players on friday morning. This time we'll have sufficient stock to keep customers supplied for some time. The price will remain the same at only $69.95. That's less than many regular DVD players available at the big stores.

International DVD players will play DVDs recorded in the British PAL TV standard and Canadian DVDs recorded in the North American NTSC standard. They also ignore the region code restrictions that stop users from playing disks bought in other countries.

Weekly Prize Draw

Last week's winner walked into the store with just one hour to spare and claimed his prize. “You made my day John” he said. Each prize winner will have one week to claim their prize by coming to the store, or contacting us by phone or e-mail. No purchase is necessary to enter but you must be registered on our mailing list. You can register by sending your name, address, phone number and email address to blightys@bellnet.ca. The weekly prize is a gift voucher valued at $10. We will not contact winners; it is the responsibility of subscribers to check the blog each week to find out if they have won and then to claim their prize. Winners names are also posted in the store as soon as they are drawn.
