Real Imported Irish Sausages!!

Huzzah! Once again the King's excise men have been outrun by our speeding frigates on the mighty St Lawrence river. This time our departure point was Belfast and our hold was laden with REAL IRISH PORK SAUSAGES! I kid you not; despite all we have heard about meat imports from the UK being banned from Canada, we have found an exception. It seems that Her Majesty's Canadian Government has made an exception to the ban that is based on two notable premises: that these are pork sausages, rather than beef, and that their point of origin is separated by the Irish Sea from the land of Mad Cows with Foot & Mouth problems .

I personally took horse in the middle of the night this week to meet the rowing boats as they landed on the moonlit beach. As the sound of the King's men's horses thundered towards me I loaded my booty, wrapped my cloak tightly around me and sped at full gallop back to Orangeville.

These sausages were made by McWhinneys of Northern Ireland. Prior to putting them on sale I valiantly tested them to ensure that they were safe for my customers to eat. The flavour is worthy of another exclamatory "huzzah!". I haven't tasted sausages this good since way back before I stowed away in the bilge of a steamship bound from Merrie England to Canada.

You'll find McWhinney's delicious Irish pork sausages in Blighty's global warming display freezer. We sell them pre-packaged in bags of 8 sausages for a very reasonable price.

Footnote: just in case my florid storytelling style left you dazed and confused - these sausages have been cleared by Canadian authorities and are being sold lawfully in Canada.
