Here's a picture of the breakfast I ate this morning. Why am I blogging about my breakfast? Because it's my all time favourite Sunday breakfast - Eggs Benedict.I eat nothing but porridge on weekdays (or "gruel" as my wife calls it) but Sundays I like to splurge and cook myself up a treat.
Eggs Benedict is simply poached eggs covered in Hollandaise sauce. I serve it on a bed of toast and ham.
Don't know how to make Hollandaise sauce? No problem, pop into Blighty's and pick up a pack of Colman's Hollandaise sauce mix (or use the form on our website - see below for the web address - for mail order information).
If you would like preparation details for Eggs Benedict (as well as a lot of other great British traditional recipes) go to Blighty's website at www.blightys.com and click the link at the top of the page for "Free Food Book". You will be taken to a page about British Food where you can download a copy of our FREE eBook "Food Glorious Food".
