What means this: "British is Less. How Canada"? Absolutely nothing actually. It's an example of how not to parse a website address. Another example is "www.therapist.com". Would you become a customer if the address were "www.the rapist.com"?
But back to "British is less. How Canada?" It's ironic that the website from which this was taken could not be more British, nor more Canadian. It is taken from the website address of the very best British show in Canada - the annual British Isles Show held in Toronto every spring. The website address is www.britishislesshowcanada.com.
Those of us who were exhibitors and visitors to the 2008 show will remember that, for the first time in donkey's years, mother nature dropped a nuclear bomb load of snow on Toronto during the weekend the show was held. But those who were brave enough to hitch up their dog teams, strap on their snowshoes and make the trek to the Queen Elizabeth Building in the Canadian National Exhibition campus, the show was one of the best ever.
The 2009 show date has been announced. It has been moved back to the first week in April, by which time we hope the worst ravages of the coming winter will be in the history books. So mark these dates in your calendars: Friday 3rd April, Saturday 4th April and Sunday 5th April and get yourself down to the show.
I always look forward to the show. Thanks for letting us know the dates.
